  • Reconcile checking account with bank statements each month for proper account balance and to identify any errors, with correcting entries. You will be notified of these adjustments and aware of any corrections.
  • Review, analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy and confer with you regarding any items not fully understood.
  • Prepare and record all necessary journal entries to reflect correct accounting records.
  • Prepare and present financial statements each month with a monthly close.
  • Forward information to your CPA to prepare income tax returns.
  • Review sales journal and prepare monthly or quarterly sales tax and franchise tax returns for your CPA to file (if applicable).
  • Setup, install accounting program (QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop Pro) with chart of accounts applicable to your business. You will have 24/7 access and your own login.

The list of "stages" is customizable to the terms you need to understand the status of your projects.  The software offers billing, time and expense for all of your team members.  We can help you set it up!

 

GENERAL DUTIES
